Business Systems Analyst

Juniper Aged Care is a leading non-profit provider of aged care services in Western Australia, dedicated to enhancing the wellbeing and safety of its staff, residents, clients, and volunteers across its Residential and Community Care Services.
About the RoleWe are seeking an intermediate-level Business Systems Analyst to join our team on a fixed-term contract, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent full-time role thereafter. The successful candidate will work closely with the Application Manager to ensure that Juniper's key line-of-business applications and operating systems are configured and maintained in accordance with vendor and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Application Management: Ensure the continuous operation and performance of key line-of-business applications.
- System Upgrades and Deployments: Support upgrades, migrations, and new business system deployments.
- Change Management: Manage changes to applications in conjunction with Change Management processes, including testing and cut over.
- Issue Resolution: Facilitate support in investigation and resolution of application issues.
- Specialist Advice: Provide specialist advice to end users.
- Documentation and Build: Produce appropriate build, operational, and documentation, including business requirements, system design, and configuration.
- External Support: Work closely with the external support team and be available for after-hours support.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field with substantial experience in the implementation of ERP solutions.
- Business Analysis and System Testing: Proven experience in Business Analysis, system testing, and complex data migration.
- Project Management: Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead implementations and upgrades from inception to completion.
- Line-of-Business Applications: Proficiency in configuring and maintaining line-of-business applications, preferably within the Healthcare or Aged Care sector.
- Windows Server Environment and SQL Database Management: Comprehensive knowledge of Windows Server Environment and SQL database management.
- Business-Focused IT Certifications: Current business-focused IT certifications such as Agile, ITIL, or Prince2 foundation level or above will be an added advantage.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Quality and Continuous Improvement: Commitment to quality and continuous improvement, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Contract and Career Opportunities: Maximum full-time contract ending in June 2025, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent full-time role thereafter.
