Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Reinsurance Manager to join our team. This role involves providing technical and administrative support for the Account Executive team in placing and servicing of Japanese Non-Marine Treaty and Facultative Reinsurance.

The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues in both Tokyo and London as a key part of our client offering.

Key Features of the Role:

  • Technical review of contractual documentation, including contract wordings, endorsements and evidence of cover.
  • Primary contact for the resolution of queries received from clients and reinsurers – liaising with colleagues within other departments as necessary.
  • Collection and analysis of data necessary for the preparation of market submissions and presentations.
  • Population and maintenance of data within our systems.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Technical reinsurance knowledge is highly desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Data analysis abilities.
  • Experience of working in a client-facing environment.
  • Ability to work in an environment where deadlines must be adhered to.
