Community Mental Health Clinician

As a clinician in our Outer Community Mental Health Team, you will be responsible for assessing and providing recovery-focused treatment interventions to consumers with various psychiatric illnesses.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Assess consumers' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate medical, psychosocial, and legal aspects of care delivery.
Coordinate care delivery with other service providers, including medical professionals, social workers, and family members.
Provide evidence-based practice and appropriate treatment options to consumers.
**Requirements:**
We are seeking a motivated mental health clinician who is committed to continued learning and development of their clinical skills.
You will need excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with consumers and their families.
Able to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team and draw on the experience of your colleagues.
Ability to work autonomously and make informed decisions in high-pressure situations.

Our Outer Community Mental Health Team is a cohesive and supportive team comprising of Nurses, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, and Medical staff.
We work collaboratively to support the mental health needs of individuals with mental illness who reside in the City of Melton and parts of Brimbank.
