We are looking for an experienced passionate Chef De Partie with proficient knife skills and a passion for fresh food to join our culinary team.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in our room service, unique French/Mediterranean hotel breakfast restaurant, and our newly launched Lobby Bar & Rooftop Bar with refurbished swimming pool, offering breathtaking Ocean Views.
Main Responsibilities- Assist Executive Chef / Sous Chef with operation of the kitchen; ensuring that food standards, preparation, ordering, presentation and cooking techniques are carried out according to established recipes and standards.
- Supervise kitchen in the absence of the Executive and Sous Chefs, delegate duties and responsibilities to kitchen employees to ensure service demands are met.
- Lead team members by setting a positive example.
- Maintain excellent presentation standards and cost control for all food and beverage outlets.
To be successful in this role you should have previous experience in the hotel industry with the same position. You should also possess knowledge of food safety requirements, strong understanding of food safety requirements, product knowledge of menu items and seasonal ingredients.
