Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Kitchen Coordinator to join our culinary team at a stunning ocean-front hotel location.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to oversee the operation of the kitchen, ensuring adherence to established recipes and standards.
  • In the absence of senior chefs, provide leadership and delegate tasks to kitchen staff to meet service demands.
  • Foster a positive work environment by setting a good example for team members.
  • Maintain strict stock rotation and minimize wastage by implementing and enforcing stock control procedures.
  • Work closely with apprentices in food preparation and production as required.
  • Ensure stringent adherence to health and safety regulations, as well as HACCP guidelines for food preparation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a senior kitchen role with expertise in knife skills, passion for fresh food, and self-motivation.
  • Excellent leadership and delegation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Detailed knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP guidelines.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
