About the Role

Ausenco is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Civil Engineer to join our team in Perth, Australia. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering civil engineering design and construction projects to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement civil engineering design solutions that meet client requirements and project objectives.
  2. Lead and manage a team of civil engineers to ensure successful project delivery.
  3. Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project coordination.
  4. Manage project budgets and resources to ensure cost-effective delivery.
  5. Evaluate tenders and proposals from a technical standpoint to ensure best value for the client.
  6. Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve project delivery and efficiency.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  1. A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  2. Extensive experience in civil engineering design and project delivery, preferably in the mining or heavy industry sector.
  3. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  6. Knowledge of project management principles and practices, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
