Position: Senior Civil Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to enhance our team in Perth. In this role, you will:

  • Execute civil engineering designs, including process plant platforms, access roads, drainage systems, and related infrastructure in challenging environments.
  • Draft technical documentation addressing specific design considerations.
  • Participate in the development of multi-disciplinary engineering designs and feasibility assessments.
  • Support the efficient delivery of civil engineering projects by managing budgets and approving cost estimates.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals and tenders, including estimating design hours.
  • Be familiar with standard deliverables and workflows in engineering projects.
  • Exhibit initiative and leadership skills to guide small teams effectively.
  • Build and maintain relationships within teams, across the organization, and with clients.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Demonstrated success in a Senior Civil Engineer capacity.
  • Extensive experience in Earthworks, Roadworks, and Drainage within relevant industries such as mining or heavy industrial sectors.
  • Proven expertise in designing mining facilities, with a strong ability to conceptualize layouts and optimize designs.
  • Hands-on experience with design software such as 12D, AutoCAD, or Civil 3D.
  • Chartered status is advantageous but not mandatory.
