About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Project Planner to join our team in Perth CBD. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for developing and updating project schedules, leading regular project schedule review sessions, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and update project schedules in accordance with Alstom's procedures and contractual requirements
  • Lead regular project schedule review sessions to challenge stakeholders' assumptions and identify solutions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to determine the preferred course of action to realise project planning goals
  • Maintain transparent communication with the project senior management team
  • Work with the contracts team to eliminate potential time-related damages and penalties
Requirements
  • Engineering or Business Degree
  • Senior experience as a lead/senior planner
  • Advanced understanding and proficiency in Primavera P6
  • Understanding of design engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning of complex technical solutions
  • Ability to summarise and evaluate detailed project schedules to identify key factors affecting project performance
