Job Title: NDIS Team Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to lead our NDIS team in Geelong, Victoria.

Main Responsibilities
  • Guide and support staff members through coaching, supervision, and ongoing training.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and quality standards among team members.
  • Oversee client intake process including assessments, care plan development, goal setting, and progress review.
  • Monitor service delivery to guarantee clients receive appropriate support according to their individual needs.
  • Collaborate closely with other professionals involved in client care such as therapists or healthcare providers.
  • Manage staffing rostering to ensure adequate coverage for client needs.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations for team members providing constructive feedback for growth opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records/documentation relating to clients' progress reports or incidents as per organizational guidelines.
Requirements
  • Cert IV in mental health is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in a similar leadership role within the disability or healthcare sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) guidelines and regulations.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certifications are required.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a team, including rostering, performance evaluations, and staff development.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients, their families, and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards relating to disability support services in Australia.
