About Our Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team in Adelaide.

  • The ideal candidate will be based in Adelaide/Gawler/Elizabeth and possess an allied health degree in psychology, counselling, developmental education or related fields.
  • A Master's qualification or above is preferred, along with extensive experience in human behaviour and working with individuals with disabilities.
  • The selected individual will also have unique personal strengths and qualities that align with our team's values and an Australian driver's license with access to a car.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To improve the quality of life for individuals with disabilities through personalised behaviour support plans.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including families, caregivers, and other allied health professionals.
  • Utilise assessments such as functional behaviour analysis to inform individualised support plans.
  • Implement strategies and interventions with a focus on holistic wellbeing and strengths.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies and ethical guidelines.
