As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will have the opportunity to shape the learning and cultural experiences of healthcare staff. This role plays a pivotal part in creating personalized growth journeys for team members.

You will be responsible for delivering tailored orientation programs, providing dedicated cultural supervision, and engaging in meaningful activities that foster a culturally safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver weekly orientation programs, including staff rounding and cultural supervision sessions.
  • Participate in annual cultural celebrations, meetings, and consultation forums to promote cross-cultural understanding.
  • Tailor each orientation program to meet the unique needs of individual staff members, providing ongoing cultural support and guidance.
  • Support Indigenous staff and contribute to creating a culturally sensitive work environment within the healthcare setting.
About You
  • Must be registered or eligible for registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with a relevant nursing authority.
  • Hold relevant post-registration clinical or education qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • Possess a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate Aboriginal descent through parentage and community acceptance as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
