Job Title: Operations Support Officer - Road Safety

  • Provide support to Mobile Road Safety Camera Operators by delivering information and providing a high level of customer service.
  • Maintain accurate records of camera session details within agreed timeframes, including data for start and finish times, site information, and compliance status.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
About the Role

This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who is process-driven, solution-focused, and passionate about contributing to road safety. As an Operations Support Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the wellbeing and safety of camera operators and Serco personnel.

You will work closely with the team to monitor all movements from log on times until log off times, providing timely support and assistance as needed. Your exceptional communication skills will enable you to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, resulting in improved outcomes and a positive work environment.

The successful candidate will possess excellent multi-tasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will be flexible and adaptable, with a strong focus on maintaining accurate records and meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and confirm camera session details within agreed timeframes.
  • Accurately record data for start and finish times, site information, and compliance status.
  • Communicate roster changes, radio checks, and welfare checks to team members.
  • Complete all reporting requirements using available systems, such as Natasha and Welfare Tracker.
