Business Valuations Manager

The role of a Business Valuations Manager involves working within small project teams to undertake valuations of businesses and intangible assets for various purposes. This includes management planning, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), tax, financial reporting, and disputes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver projects within each team as the key person responsible for managing and preparing valuation reports, which may include assessment of strategic options for transformation initiatives and detailed financial modelling and analysis.
  • Think critically, identify issues, and propose strategies related to the advice being provided.
  • Maintain positive, productive, and professional relationships with client personnel, project teams, and colleagues.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree and approximately 3 to 7 years of related work experience.
  • A degree in finance, economics, accounting, or business, with demonstrated aptitude in quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Direct experience utilising various valuation techniques and methodologies (market comparables, discounted cash flow, etc.) for different purposes.
  • Experience in financial modelling in MS Excel and related software.
  • Experience conducting valuations for accounting and/or tax planning purposes.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, organisational, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
