Job Opportunity

The Australian Taxation Office seeks motivated IT professionals to join their team as Mainframe Application Developers. This role offers a challenging opportunity to implement and maintain various IT applications, collaborate with business partners, and provide technical advice across different media channels.

As a Mainframe Application Developer (APS 4) in Enterprise Solutions and Technology, you will work closely with a scrum team to deliver services using an agile approach. Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing the design, build, testing, and maintenance of various IT applications.
  • Developing and supporting key IT services processes, including release, change, configuration, incident, and problem management.
  • Providing detailed technical and professional advice across various media channels.

Employment Details

The role is available on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis, with location flexibility offered for Adelaide, Brisbane CBD, Canberra, and Melbourne CBD locations. Merit pools may be formed to fill future similar vacancies in these locations and other metropolitan areas.
