Senior Power Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Power Systems Engineer to manage and optimize the design of Energy Vault's BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) projects in the Asia Pacific region. As a key member of our team, you will lead project execution, ensuring thorough understanding of scope, schedule, stakeholders, and seamless communication with all parties.

Your Mission:- Be responsible for project execution, requiring a deep understanding of engineering principles, procurement processes, construction management, and permitting requirements.
- Identify gaps in scope and responsibility, working with stakeholders to address them and ensure project success.
- Apply engineering expertise and consult subject matter experts as needed to identify issues and drive solutions on projects.
- Specify equipment for projects, including transformers, switchgear, and protection solutions.
- Interface with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent communication and project progress.
- Review project design documents, including single-line drawings, communication diagrams, layouts, and equipment test reports.
- Plan and lead BESS project commissioning.
- Provide constructive feedback to improve internal processes and product offerings.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (electrical or power system engineering) or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience leading project design, preferably in large power stations or PV/utility-scale power projects.
- 3+ years of BESS/PV project experience.
- PE certification or equivalent preferred.
- Familiarity with permitting processes with local authorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Willingsness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%.
- Comfortable in fast-paced, rapid growth environments.

Estimated salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum. Annual bonus plan, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), superannuation, reimbursement for home office equipment, phone, and internet expenses, and 20 days annual leave.
