We are seeking a skilled SCADA Engineer to join our team at Embedded Expertise. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of SCADA systems used in power transmission & distribution.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Design and develop SCADA systems for power distribution networks, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Implement and configure SCADA software and hardware, leveraging expertise in communication protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, and IEC 61850.
  • Monitor and maintain SCADA systems, identifying and resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and stakeholders, to integrate SCADA systems with other technologies.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users, ensuring they have the necessary skills to operate and maintain SCADA systems effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, maintaining high levels of security and integrity.

**Qualifications and Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with a strong foundation in programming languages and data structures.
  • High level of experience in designing and operating Remote SCADA systems across the full application lifecycle, with exposure to Transmission and Distribution applications and integrated Asset Data models (e.g., SAP Asset Management, Schneider CitectSCADA HMI and RTU, Microsol RTU, Cooper Gateways, GPS Clocks).
  • Proven experience in SCADA system design and implementation, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues efficiently.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a proven track record of collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
