Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you'll be responsible for designing and delivering open source software operations code using Python.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our team on cloud computing initiatives and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology. You'll have the chance to collaborate with other teams to ensure the products operate reliably, efficiently, and scale to production-sized workloads.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver open source software operations code in Python
  • Work across the entire Linux stack, from kernel to applications
  • Develop high-quality monitoring and alerting infrastructure
  • Simplify open source operations for customers and the open source community
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess strong Python development skills and familiarity with Kubernetes. You should also have experience with Linux systems administration, package management, and operations.

  • Desired Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Hands-on experience with at least one public cloud
  • Familiarity with Linux systems administration, package management, and operations
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field
