Cloud Software Development Role

This role involves working within a team of software engineers to help build a cloud-based Digital Experience Platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing robust application code that meets all technical requirements, collaborating with team members to generate User Stories and Acceptance Criteria, and providing guidance to junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop/enhance robust application code which meets all technical requirements
  • Collaborate with team members to generate User Stories and Acceptance Criteria
  • Provide guidance to junior engineers
  • Write and maintain software documentation
  • Assist Engineering Managers to create and deliver technical roadmaps
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in related fields
  • 5+ years of professional hands-on experience in software development building and maintaining large-scale software products
  • Proficiency in full-stack development, with expertise in web based languages and frameworks including Node, TypeScript, React, and cloud platforms such as AWS
  • Strong understanding of testing principles and demonstrated experience in implementing testing strategies to improve software quality and robustness
  • Experience with Agile or other iterative development methodologies
  • Strong understanding of secure coding practices
  • Previous experience mentoring junior and mid-level software engineers
Nice to Have
  • Previous experience working on DXP or CMS platforms, or experience integrating or using DXP/CMS platforms
  • Previous experience creating or maintaining site builders, page builders or WYSIWYG interfaces
