Job Opportunity

A highly skilled and motivated individual is sought to fill the role of R&D Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation and maintenance of high-performance test systems.

Working closely with engineers, technicians, and customers, the R&D Technician will deliver effective and efficient test validation programs. Exposure to various gearbox systems and architectures will provide a knowledge base that contributes to customer success.

The role offers extensive experience across multiple disciplines including electrical, electronic, and mechanical engineering. This fast-paced environment presents a unique opportunity for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validation of transmission initial build and testing
  • Operate test rigs to support in-house testing, customer testing, or product & materials development
  • Undertake build quality assurance through running end of line test rigs
  • Reporting on data, presenting findings in short reports and graphs
  • Assemble and maintain test rigs and equipment, including data logging systems
  • Document test processes, communicate findings both orally and in reports
  • Maintain and develop the R&D working environment and laboratory area
  • Assist with investigative research and component or assembly failures
  • Adhere to quality procedures, standards, and work instructions
