The role involves assisting supported employees to carry out cleaning and general maintenance tasks at various sites for commercial clients. These tasks include:

  • General cleaning, vacuuming, bathrooms/toilets, mopping, dusting, and laundry
  • Washing walls/windows
  • Light domestic duties

As a Leadership and Maintenance Coordinator, you will support General Hands in building positive team relationships that reflect our company's values, including supporting employees to develop new skills and achieve employment goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high level of physical fitness to meet manual handling and environmental requirements of the position
  • Ability to work independently and/or collaboratively as a team member
  • Sound verbal and written communication and ability to assess when to escalate issues
  • Ability to use technical skills to solve maintenance and site issues
