Community Recreation Manager

This is a key leadership position within the Recreation and Community Outcomes Business unit. The successful candidate will oversee a team of four Booking and Activation Officers, driving strategies to maximise the activation of Council's sportsgrounds, recreation spaces, and community centres.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the affairs of the Liverpool Sports Committee, including coordinating sporting grants, donations, and sponsorships.
- Identify and implement strategies to increase the use and activation of council's recreation, sporting, and community facilities.
- Manage operational budgets and forecast future financials.
- Pursue grant funding opportunities.
- Qualifications or extensive experience in sports, recreation, and/or community facilities management.
- Current Class C Driver's license.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing business improvement and marketing strategies.
- Ability to drive change and provide innovative solutions.
- Strong relationship building and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Understanding of asset management principles.
