Inventory Optimization Specialist

This role is responsible for the effective planning and control of inventory to meet sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using data analysis and statistical tools.
  • Analyse historical sales, market trends, seasonality, and inventory data to create and adjust forecasts.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer and business requirements while avoiding excess stock.

Additionally, this role involves:

  • Collaborating with supply planning teams to ensure inventory availability and alignment with operational needs.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying root causes, tracking forecast accuracy, and participating in supply chain projects.
  • Providing business intelligence reporting and consumption analytics to support purchasing and inventory decisions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
