Companion Care Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Companion Care Worker to join our team at Right at Home. As a Companion Care Worker, you will provide essential support and companionship to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Provide light cleaning and homemaking services, including vacuuming, dusting, and laundry.
- Prepare meals and snacks for clients, following their dietary requirements and preferences.
- Accompany clients on walks, trips, and social activities, promoting their physical and mental well-being.
- Document services provided and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and other care team members, ensuring confidentiality and respect.
- High School Certificate or equivalent desirable.
- Previous experience in a care role, preferably in a home care setting.
- Australian Federal Police Clearance Certificate.
- Valid Driver's License and comprehensive insurance for a private vehicle.
- Ability to plan and complete designated duties, read, write, and follow procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and maintain confidentiality.
This role requires working in clients' homes, with travel and varied shift times. You will need to be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
