Community Support Worker / Companion Care

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Right at Home Melbourne North. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to live independently and safely in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, mobility, and medication management
  • Assist clients with household tasks, meal preparation, and grocery shopping
  • Support clients with their daily routines, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Encourage clients to participate in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being
Requirements
  • Minimum of Certificate III in Aged Care, Community Care, or Disability Services
  • Current or willing to obtain a First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Satisfactory Australian Police check
  • Driver's license
  • Evidence of up-to-date Covid-19 vaccination
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in a care role highly regarded
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of WH&S and infection control
