Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents through creative and engaging leisure activities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead staff in planning programs of activities that cater to residents' needs, interests and capabilities.
  • Evaluate and ensure all residents participate in activities that promote their quality of life and well-being.
  • Develop and implement activity programs that reflect residents' previous interests and current capabilities.
  • Collaborate with team members, residents and carers to ensure smooth delivery of activities.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities, making continuous improvements as needed.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in aged/community care or lifestyle programs in aged care.
  • Resilience, resourcefulness and ability to live values of compassion, respect, imagination and boldness daily.
  • Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle or equivalent qualifications or demonstrated competency.
