Role Description

We are seeking an individual who can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others by developing and implementing social and recreational activities.

This role involves exploring residents' interests and developing their skills to improve lifestyle choices and motivate them to participate in individual and group activities.

A key responsibility is to observe and record the effectiveness of programs by monitoring residents' ongoing progress and adjusting the programs as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement social and recreational activities to enhance residents' quality of life.
  • Explore residents' interests and develop their skills to improve lifestyle choices and motivation.
  • Monitor and record program effectiveness and adjust as necessary.
Requirements
  • Diploma of Leisure and Health or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in leisure and lifestyle with overall responsibility for a services lifestyle program.
  • Understanding of resident-centered care services delivery.
  • Effective interpersonal and written communication skills, including basic computer skills.
