Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Learning & Development Coordinator to join our team at Latrobe City Council. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of our employees and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for the coordination of training and development programs, including scheduling, logistics, and communication with stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of learning and development initiatives, including workshops, training sessions, and online courses.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and deliver training programs that meet the needs of our employees.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of employee training and development, including tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication skills to internal and external stakeholders, including employees, managers, and external trainers.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of diversity and inclusion initiatives, including cultural awareness training and employee engagement programs.

Requirements

  • High level of administrative skills, including experience with scheduling, record-keeping, and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Post-secondary qualification in business administration, human resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience and skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
