Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Specialist Services team within the Therapeutic Services Unit. As a Clinical Services Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and administering the delivery of specialist services to prisoners, including disability and alcohol support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical supervision to Therapeutic Services staff and other Interventions and Reintegration staff as required.
  • Develop and conduct assessments with prisoners to identify disability support needs and alcohol and drug needs.
  • Develop and implement models of assessment, care, and intervention for specialist services.
  • Train and assist prisoner support staff to understand assessment and need in specialist areas.
  • Foster positive working relationships with other areas of the prison, Correctional Primary Health Service, and relevant government and non-government agencies.
Requirements
  • Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Tasmania).
  • At least two years' practical experience in psychological work or a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from a tertiary institution approved by the Australian Psychological Society.
