We are seeking a Senior Sales Associate (Visual Merchandising) to deliver a unique shopping experience through excellent customer service in a fast-paced, specialty retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging experiences for customers by sharing expertise on enhancing their homes.
  • Drive sales through strategic merchandising and lead weekly promotional and visual changes.
  • Ensure the store meets visual, replenishment, cleanliness, safety, and back-of-house standards.
  • Provide operational support to the store management team by performing opening and closing routines, register functions, and back-office procedures.
  • Meet personal targets and supervise and coach the team to deliver world-class service and achieve team goals.
  • Utilise effective selling techniques and provide in-depth product knowledge.
  • Develop sales skills and educate the team on our product range.
  • Create a positive environment where all associates are treated fairly and with dignity.

Requirements:

  • Retail sales experience, ideally in visual merchandising, specialty retail, and/or homewares.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Experience in managing others or looking to step into a leadership role.
  • Passion for homewares and design.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and manage own time.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to upsell and cross-sell.
  • Effective communication, organisation, and leadership skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to be mobile in the store and back-of-house areas.
  • Ability to climb ladders and use equipment in line with safety standards.
  • Ability to lift and mobilise medium to large items, up to 30kg.
