About the Role

As a key player in shaping the future of one of Victoria's fastest-growing regions, you will lead early-stage planning and design for critical infrastructure projects that support sustainable growth, liveability, and water resilience across the Geelong region.

This newly created position sits within Barwon Water's Asset Planning team and focuses on delivering strategic infrastructure planning activities to support growth across the Geelong region.

The role involves managing external consultants, facilitating technical discussions, and reviewing reports, concept designs and documentation to progress infrastructure plans through to delivery readiness.

  • You will work closely with internal stakeholders across design, operations, and strategic asset teams;
  • External partners including councils, developers, and engineering consultants;

The successful candidate will contribute directly to Barwon Water's integrated water management and Water Smart Growth goals, helping shape resilient, sustainable outcomes for our growing communities.
