About the Role

This fixed-term position sits within Barwon Water's Asset Planning team, focusing on delivering strategic infrastructure planning activities across the Geelong region. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of project management principles and practices, as well as experience working in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead early-stage planning and design activities for water, sewerage and recycled water infrastructure, ensuring projects are scoped, coordinated, and aligned with organisational objectives. This role requires excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Manage external consultants, facilitating technical discussions and reviewing reports, concept designs and documentation.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders across design, operations, and strategic asset teams, as well as external partners.
  • Contribute to integrated water management and Water Smart Growth goals, shaping resilient, sustainable outcomes for our growing communities.
About You

We're looking for an experienced project manager who can bring their skills and expertise to this challenging and rewarding role. You will have a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, and a strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
