About the Position:

The Site Representative will provide on-site oversight and management during the construction phase of the project. This includes ensuring that the duties of the Managing Contractor are being performed satisfactorily.

  • Inspect works in progress to ensure compliance with subcontract documentation and required standards.
  • Manage audit, inspection, and testing processes at practical completion.
  • Monitor environmental and health & safety controls on the project.
  • Assist Audit Quantity Surveyor during inspections to assess the value of work completed for payment purposes.
  • Attend project team meetings as required and provide advice or comment on Managing Contractor's reports.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in large complex building construction works is required.
  • A strong understanding of commercial acumen and confidence to engage with consultants and contractors is necessary.
  • A willingness to contribute to a collaborative project environment is essential.
  • Self-directed individuals who can work flexibly without supervision are preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
