Green Light is a leading consulting organisation specialising in Telecommunications and System Integration Services.

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Siebel Developer to join our team on a 6-month contract with potential extensions, based in Melbourne. This opportunity offers a hybrid work environment, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance.

As a Senior Siebel Developer, you will be working closely with our clients and partners to deliver high-quality solutions using Siebel configuration, EAI, EIM, PLSQL, and Control M techniques.

  • You will manage development and SIT environments and support large-scale Siebel installations.
  • Train and mentor new staff on Siebel Application Support.
  • Develop tools using various languages, preferably with VB scripting experience.
  • Build strong professional relationships with clients, DXC, and vendors.
  • Assist developers and support engineers with integration issues.
  • Manage teams and work with virtual teams to achieve goals.
  • Support end-to-end testing and migrate Siebel changes from development to SIT.
  • Provide solutions for online and batch integrations.
  • Update technical design documents and follow release and change management processes.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Knowledge of EAI, VBC, web services, MSMQ, and Siebel Out of the Box adapters.
  • A strong understanding of Siebel Data Model, MSSQL Server, and Oracle.
  • Familiarity with Siebel Call Centre or any base application, and at least one vertical application (e.g., Banking, Finance).
  • A thorough understanding of Siebel Schema and performance tuning.
  • Experience in Siebel Development, including business modelling, requirement gathering, analysis, configuration, and integration.
  • Complete exposure to all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Skill in configuring and customizing Siebel Objects (e.g., Applets, Business Components, Screens, Views, Tables, Joins, Links, MVGs, Pick Lists, Toggle Applets, Drilldowns).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills for technical and client-facing situations.
  • Preferably experienced in Siebel development and requirements analysis.
  • Strong analytical and performance interpretation skills.
Estimated Salary:

The estimated salary for this role is approximately $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
