Role Overview

The Senior Business System Analyst will be responsible for working with internal and external clients to assist with the implementation of the P1C software platform. This includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulating and defining system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.
  • Working with internal and external clients to assist with implementation of some or all aspects of the P1C software platform.
  • Identifying and documenting business strategies, objectives, and drivers.
  • Analysing and documenting business processes and metrics and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Re-engineering processes to deliver greater effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Identifying and documenting how applications and systems interact to support business processes.
  • Assessing, applying, and projecting the impact of system changes on users and internal and external clients or stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of financial services industry.
  • Good understanding of P1C/BASE Global/B2K or any relevant credit card processing technologies.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles, i.e., waterfall, iterative, and other modern approaches to software development.
  • Excellent customer service skills that build high levels of customer satisfaction for internal and external clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization.
  • Willingly shares relevant technical and/or industry knowledge and expertise to other resources.
