The selected Lead Financial Accountant will be integral in maintaining precise and prompt financial reporting and oversight for a diverse clientele worldwide.

Position Overview

Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the creation of statutory financial statements for year-end compliance.
  • Generating monthly management reports, including balance sheet reconciliations, tax reconciliations, and profit and loss statements.
  • Contributing to forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Supporting process enhancement initiatives and system upgrades as necessary.
  • Preparing financial documentation and income tax details for international entities.
  • Collaborating with senior stakeholders to deliver month-end analyses and offering guidance on budgets and forecasts.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have experience from a Big 4 or Mid-Tier firm and a proven track record of meeting tight deadlines while delivering high-quality outputs to senior management. The successful applicant will possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • CA, CPA, or ACCA qualifications, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a professional services environment.
  • Proven expertise in preparing statutory financial statements for large corporate entities.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with experience in high-pressure situations.
  • A solid understanding of budgeting and forecasting principles, along with experience in presenting board reports to senior stakeholders.
