Job Overview
The Senior Accountant will oversee the financial operations within Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Business to Business Collections, and general administrative support. This role offers opportunities to engage in projects, conduct financial analysis, and prepare specialized reports. The individual will also be responsible for upholding the PSC mission to ensure the integrity and professionalism of our offerings while fostering sustainable growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including conducting collections calls.
  • Assist in the review and reconciliation of daily and monthly general ledger accounts.
  • Track project advancement and financial performance, including Purchase Order management.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements: Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
  • Complete monthly and annual closing procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with requirements such as PAYG, GST, BAS, and superannuation payments.
  • Verify that intercompany invoices and charges are accurately captured and accrued.
  • Calculate commissions and ensure timely payments according to business incentive plans.
  • Provide analytical insights and recommendations to support business decision-making.
  • Prepare various schedules and reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting and additional tasks as needed.
  • Other related duties may be assigned as necessary.


QualificationsEssential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Coursework should include Accounting, Finance, and Cost Accounting.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting position.
  • In-depth knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Collections.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and journal entries.
  • Proficiency in MS Office is essential; experience with XERO is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
