Responsibilities
  • Encourage resident choice and participation in activities, promoting independence and self-expression.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of lifestyle services and activities that cater to diverse interests and needs.
  • Design and implement innovative events and lifestyle activities, fostering connections with the wider community and involving volunteers and family members.
  • Provide direct care during activities such as outings, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents.
  • Support colleagues and maintain a collaborative team spirit, working together to achieve exceptional care outcomes.
Qualifications
  • A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care to older people, with a focus on dignity and respect.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents and their families.
  • Certificate III or Cert IV in Individual Support or similar, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with residents and their families, respecting their values and preferences.
  • Reliability and flexibility, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
