As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing procurement processes, vendor relationships, and governance frameworks to ensure the effective delivery of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance to ensure value for money and quality of service.
- Establish and maintain governance frameworks to ensure effective risk management, compliance, and control.
- Collaborate with business owners to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
- Develop and maintain accurate records of vendor agreements, performance metrics, and contract details.
- Ensure regulatory expectations (e.g. CPS234 and CPS230) are met and escalate as and when required.
- At least 5 years' experience in the financial services sector, with a focus on procurement, vendor management, and governance.
- Tertiary qualifications related to the insurance/financial services industry, desired but not required.
- Strong understanding of third-party governance, procurement policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Awareness of legislative framework for the provision of general insurance services (understanding of CPS230 & CPS234).
