Job Title: Governance Officer

At Ampersand International, we are seeking a highly skilled Governance Officer to support the implementation and management of our ethics, compliance, and risk management policies, strategies, and governance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice to staff on corporate governance issues, including statutory requirements, government policy, ethics, conduct, risk management, compliance, and governance best practice.
  • Review and process internal reports, allegations, and related disclosures, including investigations, reviews, and assessments of public interest disclosures.
  • Maintain, analyze, and record governance information and data, preparing management reports on compliance and fraud and corruption issues.
  • Develop and maintain the suite of ethics, compliance, risk management, and other governance policies and procedures.
  • Support the delivery of the enterprise risk management framework and internal audit function, including risk registers and fraud and corruption risk advice.
  • Provide secretariat support to the Audit and Risk Committee, preparing agendas, minutes, and coordinating papers.
  • Support the functional and administrative operation of other governance and compliance processes as required.
