Rehabilitation Consultant Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with individuals who have suffered injury, illness or trauma, and support them in their rehabilitation journey.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for working within a multidisciplinary team to provide person-centred support to clients. This will involve developing, implementing and monitoring rehabilitation plans, and providing ongoing support as clients return to work or source new employment.

As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will perform a variety of assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise. This could include functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments.

Responsibilities
  • Take a holistic care approach to support clients in their rehabilitation journey
  • Work collaboratively with clients, medical specialists and other treatment providers to develop and implement rehabilitation plans
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine client needs and capabilities
  • Develop and maintain case notes and reports
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA)
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy, Social Work, Rehabilitation Counselling or Nursing
  • Clinical reasoning demonstrable through a minimum of 12 months experience in your registered profession
  • Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal
