Role location and scheduleOn-base work setting at Lavarack Barracks, Townsville, Queensland, Australia. Hours are 07:30 to 15:30, Monday to Friday. No billable KPIs; the role is focused on person-centred support.
Responsibilities- Taking a more holistic care approach, work within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehab to healing
- Working with your clients, develop, implement and monitor their rehabilitation plans. Provide ongoing support as they return to the same job or source new employment
- Perform a variety of assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise. This could include functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments
- Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders including the employee who has suffered injury, illness, or trauma, medical specialists, and other treatment providers
- Report writing, reviewing medical files and maintaining case notes through, providing a high quality case management service

What Will Make You Successful- Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA)
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy, Social Work, Rehabilitation Counselling or Nursing
- Clinical reasoning demonstrable through a minimum of 12 months experience in your registered profession
- Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal
- Passion to help people rehabilitate
- Occupational Rehabilitation experience is highly desirable
