About This Role

This is a challenging opportunity for someone who enjoys strategic planning and making a positive impact.

You will play a key part in designing, supporting and enhancing the infrastructure that supports our operations.

  • Facilities Services focuses on the day-to-day running of our facilities. We achieve this through the management of contracts that support the upkeep of our estate and delivering a range of services.
  • Estate Strategy & Planning focusses on the national estate that underpins our critical functions. You'll be part of a section that shapes and supports critical infrastructure that enables us to defend against global threats and protect our interests.
  • Program Management focusses on the build and fit out of our facilities and Infrastructure. You'll be part of a section playing a critical role in delivering on our growing footprint across the country.

Your responsibilities and duties will vary depending on your selected role and level. They may include:

  • Providing leadership to project activities
  • Managing or contributing to the day-to-day running of a site or group of sites within a region or community precinct
  • Engaging with stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for your team
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and the positive growth and development of your fellow team members
  • Contributing to and assisting with all areas of accommodation projects including planning, design, construction and initiation phases
  • Demonstrating an understanding of the estate planning and development process
  • Managing or contributing to the relocation of officers affected by projects
  • Project management of facility projects the majority of which are office fit-outs
  • Working collaboratively with contractors, project staff and stakeholders
  • Contributing to planning, financial, procurement, contractual and operational requirements of projects
  • Providing advice to executives on issues that pose a risk across all existing and potential projects
  • On-site quality management of project deliverables ensuring facilities are being delivered in accordance with the statement of works and all security requirements are being met
  • Contributing in executive planning meetings for long term organisational direction in regards to accommodation
  • Liaising with stakeholders on a regular basis to ensure project direction is adhering to the overall project aim and scope
  • Liaising with sections across our organisation to ensure ICT networks and hardware meet accommodation requirements
