Real Estate Manager Job Overview

The successful candidate will lead real estate strategies across ANZ, based in The Rocks, Sydney Australia.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with landlords and agents.
  • Coordinate with Retail, Finance, and Store Development Departments to build business cases and proformas for evaluation.
  • Liaise with Legal Department to review and finalize contractual agreements and execution memos in full compliance to Corporate Real Estate principles and procedures.
  • Review existing real estate portfolios, manage expiry critical dates, identify opportunities for optimizing operating costs through strategic restructuring, and negotiate commercial terms to optimize returns.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement comprehensive real estate strategies that align with the company's objectives.
  • Critical Analysis: Strong analytical skills to evaluate market trends, assess opportunities and risks, and make informed decisions.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with stakeholders, including landlords, agents, and internal teams.
  • Commercial Acumen: Understanding of commercial lease negotiations, property development, and financial analysis.
  • Project Management: Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
