Electrical Maintenance Specialist Job

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team in a hotel setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, inspecting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and maintain electrical systems in guest rooms, common areas, kitchens, pools, elevators, etc.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults (e.g., lighting, power outages, short circuits).
  • Replace faulty wiring, switches, outlets, and fixtures.
  • Maintain and service backup generators and emergency systems.
  • Ensure all electrical installations comply with local safety and building codes.
  • Perform preventative maintenance schedules on electrical systems and equipment.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Electrical trade certification or journeyman license.
  • 2+ years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a hospitality or commercial environment.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and schematics.
  • Ability to diagnose issues with minimal supervision.
  • Understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
