Job Description

We are seeking a technically driven engineer to join our Sydney-based engineering team. As a Broadcast Engineer, you will be involved in the design, deployment, maintenance and support of complex systems with a strong focus on IP-based workflows.

The role requires installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting broadcast and AV systems including routers, multiviewers, KVM systems, and automation systems.

You will participate in project delivery across pre-staging, on-site installation, and client handover. Additionally, you will manage support desk tickets, identify and resolve technical issues raised by customers or during maintenance windows.

Troubleshooting and resolving system faults both remotely and on-site is also a key responsibility. You will maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and technical issues in our tracking system.

Create, update and maintain customer knowledge base articles, internal and technical procedures as well as prepare system documentation, diagrams, and operational handover materials.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar broadcast, AV, or systems integration role.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to achieve goals.
  • Solid understanding of IP networking fundamentals (VLANs, Multicast, PTP).
  • Experience with broadcast infrastructure such as SDI/IP routers, KVM systems, and video processing.
  • Strong analytical and systematic fault-finding skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and translate into practical use.
