About the Role:

Hanson Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team in Sydney, Central Coast, Newcastle, and Wollongong. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and implementing sales strategies, and coaching and developing your team to meet and exceed their goals and targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement regional sales strategies to drive sales growth and meet business objectives.
• Take ownership of the order book, pipeline, and forecasting to ensure accurate sales projections and revenue growth.
• Develop and leverage existing customer relationships to achieve new business goals and expand our market share.
• Inspire, motivate, coach, and develop the individual capabilities of your sales team to achieve high-performance sales results.
• Be accountable for and lead your team by building a high-performance sales culture that aligns with our company values.

Requirements:

• Proven track record of achievement in a sales leadership role with a multi-million dollar sales target.
• Well-developed knowledge of the Sydney, Central Coast, Newcastle, and Wollongong construction market and heavy construction materials such as asphalt, concrete, or aggregates.
• Strong people leadership skills and the ability to identify and capture sales opportunities through customer, market, and industry insights.
• Experience in strategic sales management, including high-level selling, advanced sales processes, management cycles, and refined sales techniques.
• Ability to build strong internal and external relationships to achieve great customer outcomes.
• Understanding of the importance of customer satisfaction and the ability to ensure high levels of customer service.
