Our team is seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – Armament to join our dynamic Hawk team within the Aerospace organisation based in Williamtown, NSW. This exciting opportunity allows you to work on aircraft weapon systems and ensure the safety of our clients.

Maintaining the emergency escape system, egress systems and aircraft weapon systems is a crucial part of this role. You will be responsible for carrying out scheduled servicing and other unscheduled maintenance tasks as required. Your attention to detail and ability to record accurate information will be essential in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

We are looking for someone with a Certificate IV in Aeroskills – Armament or higher. Military or Civil Aviation Maintenance Licence is highly desirable but not necessary. A strong understanding of Australian Defence Force aircraft maintenance regulations, process and procedures is also important. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must in this fast-paced environment.

This role requires a high level of physical fitness due to the demands of working in a workshop environment. The ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods is essential. If you have the skills and qualifications we are looking for, please apply now.

Clearances:

A Defence security clearance is required for this role. Applicants must be Australian citizens and either possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearances.

International Traffic In Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
