Structures Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Structures Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the maintenance and repair of sheet metal, bonded and non-metallic composite material and components on aircraft.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all maintenance and technical documentation is authorised for use and compliant with regulatory requirements. They will also be required to record details of work performed accurately and in a timely manner, as well as ensure that all appropriate documentation is incorporated as directed.

This role requires strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in Defence Aircraft maintenance or a related field, and hold a Certificate IV in Aeroskills – Structures qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production, maintenance and repair of sheet metal, bonded and non-metallic composite material and components on aircraft.
  • Ensure all maintenance and technical documentation is authorised for use and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Record details of work performed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Initiate quality, non-conformance or defect reporting relating to maintenance tasks.
