Aircraft Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team within the aerospace organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain emergency escape systems, egress systems and aircraft weapon systems from computers onboard to stores carried by the aircraft plus load and handle various aircraft and stores.
- Responsible for carrying out scheduled servicing and other unscheduled maintenance as directed by the Team Leader.
- Ensure maintenance and technical documentation used during maintenance is authorised for use and compliant.
- Correctly and promptly record details of work performed on relevant documents and gain certification of performance in required timeframes.
- Report defects, deficiencies, maintenance errors and unserviceability's as they arise to the Team Leader.
- Carry out maintenance only to delegated and authorised levels.
- Initiate quality, non-conformance or defect reporting relating to maintenance tasks as directed.
About You:
- Certificate IV in Aeroskills – Armament.
- Military or Civil Aviation Maintenance Licence (Highly Desirable).
- An understanding of Australian Defence Force aircraft maintenance regulations, processes and procedures (Highly Desirable).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work within a fast-paced team environment.
- Australian Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain.
