Procurement Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced procurement specialist to lead end-to-end procurement activities for major infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders, developing procurement strategies, and managing sourcing activities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in planning activities to identify commercial opportunities and work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop the procurement and contracting strategy.
  • Manage and lead sourcing activities (Pre-Qualifications, EOIs, RFTs) for various packages of works related to the project, ensuring operational compliance to group procurement policy and processes.
  • Develop procurement frameworks specific for the project where required and deliver procurement initiatives that drive quantitative and qualitative benefits.
  • Provide management reporting on the status of procurement activities to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Requirements:
  • A relevant qualification in a field such as supply chain management, business administration, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in procurement, preferably in a leadership role, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, laws, and standards, including OHS, legal, ethical, sustainable, and commercial requirements.
